D. Darrell Bishop, 74, Warren, went to be with the Lord, at 7:10 am, Thursday, June 4, 2009 in his residence. He was born in Morgan County, Kentucky to the late Roscoe and Grace (McClurg) Bishop and had been a resident of Huntington County for 39 years. He married Sondra (Oakley) Chitwood in 1965. She survives.

Darrell retired from General Motors, in 1991, after 34 years. He was a US Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War from 1954–1956. He attended Mt. Etna United Methodist Church, was a member of the Local UAW 977, the CPC Sympathy Club and the Indianapolis American Legion. Darrell enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a strong man of faith.
