Mr. Cooley is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ella Harrison Cooley; mother, Annie Myrtle Cooley Sanderson; father, Roy Cooley; brother, Ulysses Cooley; sister, Kathryn Hutto. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Cooley Waynesboro; daughter, Coleen Gundzik (John) of Bakersfield, CA; step daughter, Tammie Parker (Charles) of Brandon; 2 step sons, Terry Bayne, Timmy Bayne (Lori) both of Waynesboro; brother, Billy Joe Cooley of Waynesboro; 7 grandchildren, Michael Bayne, Crystal Bayne Davis (Bennie), Leah Buffington (Brock), Clayton Bayne (Brittany), Jensi Parker, Elijah Parker, Amanda Bayne Fescina; 4 great grandchildren, Houston Davis, Dalton Davis, Vanna Buffington, Roxie Buffington; 3 great-great grandchildren, Bradon Davis, Madden Davis, Elizabeth Harper Davis.
