Last rites for Mrs. Ross Thomas, who died Wednesday night at Cleburne, Texas, were held Sunday afternoon at the Pleasant Hill Church with the Rev. Osborne Payne of Tullos officiating. Interment was made in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Walsh Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Thomas was 28 years old at the time of her death and was the former Miss Bettie [sic Hettie] Barrett of Winn Parish.

Pallbearers were Clayton Holmes, D. O. Pray, John Long, Charlie Waller, Judge Smith, and Lonnie Thomas.

Surviving the deceased are her husband, Ross Thomas of Cleburne, Texas, her mother, Mrs. Mollie Barrett of Route 2, Winnfield, two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Long of Route 2, Winnfield, and Mrs. Bessie Waller of Hodge, four brothers, Lee Barrett of Mangham, L. V. and Lavelle Barrett of Los Angeles, Calif., and Willie Barrett of Chicago, Ill., and two half brothers, Manuel Jarnagon of Collins, Miss., and Ralph Jarnagon of Detroit, Mich.
