Vera Ocie Shafer, 75, of Colorado City, died on Tuesday, May 21, 1991.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, in Westbrook
Cemetery, under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home, with the Reverend
Jon Farris officiating.

She was born on August 31, 1914, in Soper, Oklahoma, to Mr. and Mrs Charles
Franklin Davenport. A widow, she was married to Beuman L Shafer, who died on
December 26, 1984. She was a Methodist.

She is survived by two sisters Ida Stokes of Snyder and Dolly Childers of Colorado
City, and three brothers, Dave Davenport and Red Davenport of Colorado City,
and Angelo Davenport of Stanton.
