FOSTORIA- Albert C. Folk, 89, formerly of 286 E. Sixth St., died Wednesday in a Tiffin hospital. For the past four years he had resided at the Fairview Nursing Home in Tiffin.
Mr. Folk was a former employee of the Union Carbide Co.
He was born Sept. 17, 1879 in Henry County, OH., to Jacob and Sarah (McIntire) Folk. He married Minnie Dayringer in 1900 and she died in 1952.
Surving are daughters, Mrs. Harold Reynolds, Mrs. Rhey Beach, Mrs. William Rutherford, all of Fostoria, and Mrs. George Sproul, Lima. Sons Howard and Ernest, Fostoria, sisters Mrs. Grace Hann, Marion, and Mrs. Ruby Brecht , Leipsic. There are 19 grandchildren.
Services are at 10a.m. Saturday in the Harrold Funeral Home. The Rev. Allen Vine will officiate with burial in Fountain Cemetery. Visitation is at the funeral home from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
