Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Hughett were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at her home on Altoona road by V.W. Thomas. She is survived by one daugher, Olena Hughett; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. N.L. Dobbins; four brothers, Wiley, Andrew and Pfc Joseph and Pfc William Dobbins; and the following sisters, Elsie Dobbins, Ruth Dobbins, Mina Dobbins, Mona Dobbins and Isabella Dobbins. Pall bearers were C.P. Bentley, Cooper Morefield, Dewey Bentley, Jessie Cruff, Payton Brewer, and Fred N. Bentley. Flower girls were Mrs. Ina Haden, Mrs. Dawn Lewis, Mrs Bruce Grimmett, Miss Mildred Morefield, Mrs. Clyde Coletrain, Mrs. Virgie Swain, Mrs. Margaret Bentley, Mrs. Ray Kanode, Mrs. Susie Eanes, Mrs. Margaret Alderman, Mrs. Elizabeth Hurst, Miss Lola Ahart, Miss Nan Farmer, Mrs. Agnes Smith, Mrs. Ruth Marshall, Miss Louise Via, Miss Nellie Dean, Mrs. George Hix, Miss Adena Farmer and Mrs. Virginia Trusler. Burial was in Ray's cemetery.
