Mary Edna Wood was born in Rich, Bingham, Idaho, 11 Nov 1898, 2nd child of Daniel Cotton and Margaret Ann Edwards Wood. She married Harold David Hawkes, 30 August 1916, in Salt Lake City, Utah. When she died 17 December 1930, Thomas, Bingham, Idaho, she left seven children ranging in age from 20 months to 13 years, and was sorely missed by them.
