Born in Sherando, April 23, 1883, she was a daughter of the late Odie C. And Gillie Baber Wagner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin L. Padgett, August 26, 1964.
Mrs. Padgett was a member of Basic United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Aubrey L. Padgett of Groveland, Fla., Herman E. Padgett of Harrisonburg and Gordon S. Padgett of Waynesboro; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in Riverview Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Gordon V. Nelson. The body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight.
