LEADER, Thomas - - - Died at 12:50 a.m. Saturday in New Orleans. Aged 71, he was a resident of Whitehall, La., and a native of Head of Island. Rabenhorst Funeral Home in charge. Body at the residence in Whitehall until 3:45 p.m. Sunday. Religious services at the St. Stephens Catholic Church in Whitehall at 4 p.m. Sunday. Interment in the Whitehall Cemetery. Survivors are his wife, Mrs Lenora Fontenot Leader; two sons Joseph E and Adam M Leader both of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs A.M. Scivicque and Mrs J. Broussard, both of Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs. Alice Adison, New Orleans; a half-sister, Mrs Leah Fairburn, Ponchatoula; two brothers, Sim Leader, Whitehall, and Leonce Leader, Metairie; three half-brothers, Morris and Vincent Berthelot, Livingston and Mosie Berthelot, French Settlement; 15 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
