Hollis E. "Mickey" Houtz, 92, of Libertyville passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
She was born in Champaign, Il. to Harvey and Vivian Barnhart. She married John Houtz. He passed away on June 24, 1979.
Surviving are her children, John (Judye) Houtz of Lindenhurst, James (Carol) Houtz of Vienna, Va. and Beverly Houtz of Fairborn, Ohio; grandchildren, Tommy, Stephanie (Nick), Samantha, Jennifer, Jordan and Jillian and her brother, Harvey (Ruth) Barnhart of Champaign.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Cecil Barnhart, Jack Barnhart and Lester Barnhart and her sisters, Hazel Runyan, Opal Goodrich and Harriet Kelly.
She graduated from the Burnham Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a nurse.
