Mrs. Ida M. Hitchcock, 2346 Farnam street, widow of the late Fred Hitchcock, who preceded her in death on May 8, 1921, passed away Saturday at 7:40 p.m. at the Davenport hospital. Death terminated a short illness, and followed an operation.
Mrs. Hitchcock was born in Germany on Sept. 4, 1869, being 55 years old at the time of her decease. When 2 years old she came to the United States with her parents, residing in Davenport almost all her life, and here married Fred Hitchcock on June 6, 1911. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Rudolph Topp, of Davenport.
The funeral will be held from the Hill & Fredericks chapel Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., with interment in Oakdale cemetery.
