SHREVEPORT -- Quincy J. "Slim" Edmonds, 70, of Atlanta died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday in LSU Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Edmonds of Winnfield; one daughter, Billie Ferguson of Atlanta; three brothers, Y. E. Edmonds and Mann Edmonds, both of Wyatt, and Bill Edmonds of Winnfield; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Atlanta Methodist Church with the Revs. Charles Haley and Calvin Phelps officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Dodson under direction of Southern, Winnfield.
