WINNFIELD -- Services for Eugene E. "Bill" Edmonds will be at 3:30 p.m. today in the chapel of Southern with the Rev. Charles Haley and Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories.

Edmonds, 81, of Winnfield died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1997, in Winn Parish Medical Center.

He was a native of Winn Parish and a member of First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World, the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include one son, Eugene F. Edmonds of Winnfield; one brother, Willie Keith "Man" Edmonds of Wyatt; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
