Rose Lena Seidl was born in Subiaco, Arkansas, to Frank and Ludwina Wolfe Seidl. She married John James Eckart in 1914 and gave birth to five precious children. Rose began developing severe headaches and was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Her life ended very abruptly, Feb. 3, 1926. She left behind her husband, John James Eckart of Subiaco, Arkansas; four sons, James John, Gilbert Anthony, Albert John, Leo Joseph; and one daughter, Katherine (Bonnie) Eckart. All of the children were ten years of age and under.
