"Oliver W. Beil, 101, of Northampton- Lehigh Tswp., PA, died Friday, June 18, 2010, at Fellowship Community in Whitehall, PA. Oliver was married to the late Clara O. (Deppe) who died in 1966, and the late Ida V. (Silvius) who died in 1993. He was the husband of Margaret G. (Lazar), with whom he celebrated 15 years of marriage this past December 10, 2009. Born in Kreidersville, PA. he was the son of the late Henry and Jenny (Bartholomew) Beil. Oliver was a self-employed Painter and Paperhanger along with farming for many years. Prior to he worked as a custodian for the Northampton Area School District in the Elementary buildings and also custodial work for the former Cement National Bank, Northampton, PA. He was an active member and the Eldest member of the Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville, PA. Suvivors: Surviving along with his wife Margaret are; a daughter, Pauline R. wf. of Rev. William Cordes of Chattanooga, TN; a son, Rev. James A. Beil & wf. Sandra Lynn of Whitehall, PA; a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Rosencranz of Northampton, PA; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Rebecca Vasterling in 2003; and two sisters Edith Beil and Hilda Frack. Services: Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Bethany Wesleyan Church, 675 Blue Mountain Drive, Cherryville, PA. 18035. With calling hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will follow services at the Allen Union Cemetery, Northampton, PA. Arrangements are being handled by the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA."
