Charles A. "Chuck" Lee, 76, died at 5 p.m. Sept. 19, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

He was born Sept. 5, 1935, in Cridersville to Dean and Thelma South Lee, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 11, 1961, he married Shirley A. White, who survives.

Mr. Lee retired in 2000 from Dana Corp., Lima, after 22 years. Prior to that, he worked at Neon Products, Lima, for 25 years. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church, Wapakoneta. He was a 1953 graduate of Spencerville High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He and his wife delighted in spending time and caring for their granddaughter Arliss.

Survivors also include four children, Tracy Lee, Tina (Dennis) Gossard, and Charles (Stephanie) Lee, all of Wapakoneta, and William Lee, of Jackson Center; six grandchildren, Arliss, Zachary, Hallie, Harmon, Cole and Samuel; seven siblings, John Lee, of St. Marys, Robert Lee, of Jackson Center, Paul (Carolyn) Lee, of Spencerville, Dorothy Martin, of Wapakoneta, Dennis Lee, of Van Wert, Larry Lee, of Wapakoneta, and Walter Lee, of Jackson Center; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Raymond and David Lee; and a sister, Shirley Ann Lee.

Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta. Pastor Steven Nelson and Pastor Charles H. Johnson will officiate.
