MRS. JANE GENTRY PASSES AWAY HERE
Mrs. Mary Jane Gentry, resident of Dayton and Walla Walla since 1885, died yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. Ducan, one mile west of Walla Walla. She was born Oct. 24, 1840 in Newton county, Missouri and came to this state when she was 45 years old. Surviving her are six children, Mrs. R. L. Burres (sic) of Dayton, Mrs. G. Duncan of Walla Walla, Mrs. Alice McDouall of Walla Walla river, T. E. Gentry of Mabton, Minor Gentry of Riverside, California and Isaac Genty (sic) of Tucannon. The body will be taken to Dayton this afternoon for burial there tomorrow.

MRS. MARY JANE GENTRY PASSES AWAY
Mrs. Mary Jane Gentry, a resident of Dayton and Walla Walla since 1885, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. Duncan of Walla Walla Monday morning. Her remains were brought to Dayton for burial and funeral services were held from the Hubbard & Rogg chapel Tuesday morning at 10 'oclock with the Rev. W. C. Gilmore of the Congregational church in charge.
Mrs. Gentry was born in Newton county, Missouri, October 24, 1840, and coming west in an early day, she was one of those whose courage and endurance founded this great country.
Mrs. Gentry is survived by six children who are Mrs. R. L. Burris of this city, Mrs. G. Duncan and Mrs. Alice McDouall, Walla Walla, T. E. Gentry, Mabton, Washington, Minor Gentry Riverside, California and Isaac Gentry who lives on the Tucannon in this county.
