William Wesley 'Billy' King's first wife's name is Mary Jane Matthews King.

She was the daughter of S.H. Matthews. She died in 1889 but I cannot find out the date or location of burial for her or her newborn daughter. Best guess is in the Newton City Cemetery by her mother or on the other side of W. W. King, her husband.

Together they had 3 living children: Delphia King Lewis (buried in the Lewis Chapel Cemetery), Hampton Cicero King (buried in Bean Cemetery in Kirbyville) and Dock U. King (buried in the Newton City Cemetery).

After his daughter, Delphia married, W.W. then married Mary Smith (Mary Smith King Miller) and had more children as recorded already.

The information above was supplied by Findagrave contributor, donna (#48579576).
