Her father wrote a will on June 5, 1809 and the portion that mentions his daughter, Anna, reads:
Ninethly, I give and bequeath to my beloved Daughter Annah, Wife of Isaac Ritter the sum of three hundred Pounds, to be paid to her by my three sons Proportionally in manner following to wit. Five years after my decease she is to receive One hundred and fifty Pounds and six years after my decease the remaining One hundred and fifty Pounds, which shall be her share of Legacy exclusive of what she has already had.

Transcription: In Remembrance of Anna Ritter, who was born Dieder. She was born the 8th of August 1785 and was married to Isaac Ritter. She lived with him as wife for about 18 years. They had 3 sons and 6 daughters. She died 22 December 1824 and was 39 years 4 months and 14 days.
