She married David Sprinkle on 14 Aug 1826 (family records) or 1828 (transcribed marriage record), in Adams Co., Ohio.
Elizabeth & David had a family of twelve children, all of whom were born in the little village of Jacksonville, Meigs Twp., Adams Co., OH. Their children were: Mary Catherine (McNary); George J.; Elizabeth (Porter); William Harrison; David K.; Thomas Jefferson; Samuel Marion; Louisa M. (Walker); Annie May (Bennett); Albert Jesse; John R.; and Martha Ellen (Test).
About 1854, the family moved to Rome (also called Stout), Green Twp., Adams Co., and Elizabeth died there.
Elizabeth is buried in Point Cemetery next to her son John and near husband David. Her stone had fallen and was hidden beneath the surface for many, many years. It was definitely not visible in the late 1960's when my parents & I walked the cemetery looking for it. And it was not visible in the 1980's when Adams Co. genealogical society members walked the cemetery and recorded the gravestones. After David's gravestone was discovered, we were determined to find Elizabeth's. By probing in the area, we found the stone about 4" or 5" underground in May 2012 in very legible condition. (See David's memorial for the story about his gravestone.)
