Her birth and death dates have never been verified, but it is assumed that Mary died between 1668 when their daughter Dorothy was born and 1675 as Samuel married Phebe Dickinson after 1675. It is Phebe who was listed as widow Hale died on 19 Jan 1711/12 in the Barbour Records. That is also confirmed on page 7 of Hale, House and related families, by Donald Lines Jacobus. Samuel's marriage to Phebe can be confirmed on page 637 of NE Marriages, Prior to 1700.
