Born to the late Levi A. and Edith Phillips Wells, she had been a waitress at Southside in Sikeston.

She was married to James Cecil, who survives of the home. Other survivors include: 1 son, Timothy Wells of Sikeston, MO; 1 brother, Farril Wells of Dudley, MO; 4 sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary Pulliam and Betty Clark of Sikeston, Wilma and Doyle Break of Hardy, AR., and Carolyn and Lowell Hayden of Charleston, MO; and 3 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Interment will be in the New Morley Cemetery in Morley, MO
