ANGEL OF DEATH
Claims the Spirits of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Campbell
John D. Campbell was born in Glenelder, Mitchell county, Kansas, June 25, 1885, and departed this life August 13, 1911, aged 26 years, 1 month and 19 days.
He moved with his parents to a farm near Alva, Okla., in 1894, and moved his family to Little River last January. His wife preceded him in death only two days.
John Campbell was an industrious and hard-working young man, a devoted husband and father and, during his short stay in our midst, made many friends.
He leaves to mourn his death a little son, father and mother, one brother and six sisters.
His father and mother were with him during his sickness and until the end came.
The funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church by Rev. F. L. Rutledge at 5 o'clock Monday evening and interment was made in Bean cemetery.
The bereaved families and relatives have the sympathy of the entire community.
