Robert Roland Jones, 62, of Heber City, passed away Friday, February 17, 2006, surrounded by family and friends.
Born October 3, 1943 to Lester Marvin and LaVon Howe Jones.
Bob was a special child of our Heavenly Father. At a young age, Bob was called to endure many trials and tests, which he did bravely and always with a smile on his face. Bob worked hard every day and never shied from a duty. He had a kind heart, and loved to help people, but he knew the value of a good joke, and was not opposed to some minor mischief now and then. Bob will be missed, but we do not mourn, for we know he is home.
Preceded in death by his parents, Lester and LaVon; and brother, Marvin.
Bob is survived by his sisters, Marion Collard, Midvale, Beth (Doug) Murphy, Vernal, Karen (Steve) Ridge, Lehi, and Jeanette (Marvin) Jones, St. Louis, MO, and their families.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 North Main, Heber City; viewing one hour prior to service. Interment in Heber City Cemetery.
