Nora Abernathy Ray was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Abernathy Ray and the late Mr. Vee Abernathy. She died at Bedford County Hospital. She was united in marriage to Mr. Raymond Ray and they were blessed with fifty-four years of love and devotion to each other.
She was a member of Scott Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Raymond Ray; mother, Mary Abernathy Ray; brother, Samuel J.V. (Inell) Abernathy; two nephews, Brian Abernathy and Earl Richardson; two nieces, Eloise and Darlene Abernathy, and a host of other devoted relatives and friends.
