Dorthey R. Coleman, 88, died Friday, March 27, at the Memorial Hospital in Abilene. She was born Jan. 28, 1921, near Oakley, the daughter of James Fredrick and Hattie Gladys (Porter) Sims. The family moved to Abilene in 1928. She had attended the Abilene schools. For 40 years she had been the office nurse for Dr. E.F. Stark. On Aug. 18, 1987, she married Asher Coleman. All of their married life has been spent in Abilene.
