"Aaron Hitt, Former Citizen, Dies at Germantown Aaron Hitt, former citizen of this county, died at the home of his son, Elmer Hitt, at Germantown, Monday about noon, of the infirmities of old age. He was the son of the late Aaron Hitt and wife of Hittville. Surviving him are one son, Elmer, and 5 daughters, Mrs. Thomas Miller of Covington, Mrs. Dayton Linville of Cincinnati, Mrs. Insko of Covington, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Moneyhon of Bracken County. He is survived by one brother, Frank, of Ohio. His wife, who before marriage was Miss Atkin (their typo, her name was Martha Ellen Askin), preceded him to the grave about 10 years ago. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Germantown Christian Church and interment was in Germantown Cemetery." (Tribune Democrat 3/31/1938)
