WENATCHEE _ Loretta F. ``Jerry'' Sparks, 89, a 60-year resident and former business owner in Wenatchee, died Saturday evening, Oct. 28, 1995, at her home.

She was born Oct. 29, 1905, to John and Catherine (Hammer) Schaaf in Rockford, where she grew up and attended school. She attended a beauty school in Seattle and moved to Wenatchee, where she worked as a hair stylist.

She married Paul Sparks on Feb. 10, 1943, in Escondido, Calif. They moved to Wenatchee at the end of World War II, where she purchased Robinson Studio on Wenatchee Avenue. She continued to work in her field until she retired in her late 70s.

Mrs. Sparks was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wenatchee.

Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Ivan (Alene) Willmschen, Rockford; a nephew, Vern Sparks, Wenatchee; two sisters-in-law, Tena Schaaf, Escalon, Calif., and Beatrice Schaaf, Vancouver, B.C.; and other numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in February of 1983, two sisters and two brothers.
