She was the daughter of Stephen and Sally (Acock) Talkington and wife of William Thomas Lester (1802-1859). Her 11 children (Elizabeth Mildred, Martha Jane, Sarah K, thomas, Mary Sharp, Cynthia E, Lavenia B, Nancy E, Serena Tommie, William Stephen, Mark Bean and Joseph Paschal) were born in Cedarville, Crawford, AR. She moved to Fresno Co, CA with some of her children, niece, Mary Malissa Talkington Reed Looney (also buried in this cemetery) and nephew, Richard Steven (aka Stephen R Talkington) in Selma. Margaret's children married Shipleys, Matlocks, Kimes, among others) who also immigrated to the Selma Area from AR.
