ELBERT MCGAHA RITES HELD AT LITTLE RIVER
Elbert McGaha, aged 69, died last Wednesday at his home in Brevard and was buried the following day at Orr's Cemetery. Funeral services were held at Little River Baptist Church with Rev. M. O. Scott and Rev. C.W. Hilemon in charge.

Pallbearers were Lloyd McGaha, Francis Jones, Billie Jones, Joe Jones, Charlie Drake and Melvin McGaha. Flowers were in the care of Virginia Jones, Lilian Benson, Annie Bell Benson, Estell McGaha, Lois Mcgaha and Ruby McGaha, Moore's Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Elizabeth McGaha married October 10, 1886, six daughters and four sons as follows: Leota Benson and Flora Jones of Marietta SC, Annie McGaha of Inman SC, Sallie Drake of Hendersonville, Mae Blackwell and Mildred Gray of Brevard, Nathan and Reynolds McGaha of Pisgah Forest and Wade and Vess McGaha of Brevard.

Two sisters, Julia Lyday and Rachel McGaha and One brother, George McGaha also survive. There are 43 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
