Wilbur Claude Bailey, 17, 1333 Glenn Avenue, died in the Robert Long hospital in Indianapolis Saturday morning at 7:30 o'clock after an illness of several weeks.
He was a former member of the Eagles lodge, was employed in the General Electric company, and was a former employee of the Spencer Cardinal company. He belonged to the Middle street Methodist church.
The body was taken to the Wire Funeral home and was returned to the family residence where friends may call. Short funeral services will be held in the family home 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and final funeral services will be conducted in the Middle street Methodist church at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. G. Ben Hershberger officiating. Burial will be in Falls cemetery.
The decedent was born in Wabash, April 7, 1928, the son of Everett C. and Edna M.(Murphy) Bailey. The father preceded him in death, April 10, 1945. Survivors include the mother, Mrs. Everett Bailey, two sisters, Miss Rosalie Bailey, Mrs. Mary Jane Eckhart, two brothers, David and Gilbert Bailey, all of Wabash.
