John H. Copenhaver died on Monday evening of pneumonia after a brief illness at his home at Maple Street near Sixth, in the Independent district. He was the son of Mrs. and Mrs. John B. Copenhaver of the Fifth Ward. He was 28 years old and three years ago, he married Miss Kate Boyer, who survives him, along with one child. He was a member of St. Marks Reformed Church, also the Patriotic Order of Sons of America, & K.G E. He was a bolt maker by occupation. Funeral was this afternoon held from the house and was very largely attended. Rev. I. Calvin Fisher, the pastor, conducted services in St. Mark's Reformed Church, after which interment was made at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The obsequies were attended by representatives of Patriotic Order of Sons of America, by which he was a member, and they had charge of the services at the grave. D.A. Frantz was the undertaker.
