Frank K. Copenhaver died Wednesday evening of congestion of the lungs and the liver, after an illness of only ten days, at his home, 459 N. 6th. Street. He was 22 years old, and held a clerkship in the American Iron and Steel manufacturing company's central offices. He was a member of the class of 1897, Lebanon High School, St. Mark's Reformed Church and it's choir; Camp # 254, Patriotic Order of Sons of America; Knights of Malta, & several literary and social organizations. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Copenhaver, and was married, being survived by his wife, Mary S. Copenhaver nee Boyer. The funeral of Frank K. Coppenhaver was held from his late residence with services in St. Mark's Reformed Church, Rev. I. Calvin Fisher, officiating, with private interment at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery There were many people who paid their last tribute to his memory, by attending the obsequies. Among them were representives from Patmos Commandery, Knights of Malta; W. C. #654, Patriotic Order of Sons of America, who furnished the pallbearers. Hundreds viewed the remains, which reposed in a handsome coffin surrounded by a profusion of floral tributes at the house prior to the services. D. A. Frantz was the undertaker. [Lebanon Daily News]
