Mr. Lee E. Harr, 57, of 2017 10th St., formerly of Loop Station, died Sunday evening, May 8, 1983, in Altoona Hospital, apparently after a heart attack.
Mr. Harr retired from Madden Plumming(sic) and Heating Co., Hollidaysburg, in 1977.
He was born Jan. 12, 1926, in Reservoir, the son of Clement and Izetta (Claar) Harr, and was twice married, first to Dolly A. Swartz, who died Dec. 1, 1975, then on May 8, 1976, in Winchester, Va., to Mary Woodring.
Surviving are his wife, four children: Mrs. Betty Merritts, Lyman, Roy and Clement of Loop Station; four stepchildren: David Woodring, Dale Woodring, Mrs. Phyllis Benner and Mrs. Debbie Weidley of Altoona; five grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Also surviving are five brothers and sisters: Mrs. Erma Sprow of Duncansville RD, Orrie of Reservoir, Floyd of Roaring Spring and Mrs. Esther Iley and Merrell of Lisbon, Ohio, and a half-brother, Kenneth Ferguson in Ohio.
Mr. Harr was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Europe.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Plank & Stitt Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg.

HARR -- Services for Lee E. Harr of 2017 10th St. will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Plank & Stitt Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, by the Rev. Percy Claar. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
