OBITUARY
(March 9, 1938 - December 23, 2004) Caineville, Utah - Jim Clark, age 66, passed away December 23, 2004 at his home in Caineville, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 9, 1938 in Lyman, Utah, a son of Provincal "Vince" and Opal Lotita Peterson Clark. He was raised by his mother, and step-father, Elmer Peterson of Lyman.

Jim married Ellen Bohman, April 12, 1957 in Monroe, Utah. They had 6 children and were later divorced. As a young man, Jim worked as a miner, and then worked into being a professional carpet and flooring installer, which he did for the past 40 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, and loved fishing, hunting and camping. He enjoyed gardening, farming and dancing. He really enjoyed country music.

Jim is survived by his children: Stanley Jim and Teresa Clark of Garland, Utah; Wade B. and Debbie Clark of Clinton, Utah; Jim Kent and Cathy Clark of Phoenix, Arizona; Shawn Clark of Logan, Utah; Trent Lind and Andrea Clark of Cedar Park, Texas; Mary Ellen and Tom Shivers of Brigham City, Utah; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Jim is also survived by his siblings: Hope and Karl McFall of Caineville, Utah; Barbara and Dean Monson of Hurricane, Utah; Lorna and Ernest Bastian of Green River, Utah; Jack and Christy Peterson of Caineville, Utah; Jill and Terry Jackson of Bicknell, Utah; George and Joyce Peterson of Hanksville, Utah; Karen and Al Pendlebury of Blackfoot, Idaho; Gloria Bachhofer of Oklahoma; Lloyd and Debbie Clark of Vernal, Utah; his step-mother, Oral Clark of Vernal, Utah; his step-father, Elmer and Lanore Peterson of Torrey, Utah.

His children would like to thank the dedicated men and women of the Hospice program for their help and care. A very special thanks and love go to Aunt Hope, for her extended care and sacrifice and to Aunt Lorna, who was able to give strength and support in the last weeks of Dad's life. We recognize and appreciate all the love, support and sacrifices of Dad's family during his time of need.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. in the Hanksville LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Wednesday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Caineville Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
