GEORGE W. MORLEY DEAD
George W. Morley died Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. E. Morrison, at Osowatomie (sic), here he had been living. G. W. Morley is the father of Bish W. Morley, of Emporia. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
G. W. Morley was born in 1848 at Vermont, Ill. He was married to Elizabeth Dunblazier, January 28, 1866. Mr. and Mrs. Morley moved to Emporia in 1905. Before Mrs. Morley died, July 5, 1928, Mr. Morley preached in First Methodist churches in Missouri and Kansas. After Mrs. Morley's death, Mr. Morley lived in Emporia and conducted a real estate and insurance business. George W. Morley is survived by two sons, Bruce W. Morley, of Denver, Colo., and Bish W. Morley, of Emporia; five daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Evans, of Hope; Mrs. H. B. Duncan, Lionville, Iowa; Mrs. Wilce Anders, of Central Point, Ore.; Mrs. Del Anders, of Oelweine, Iowa, and Mrs. C. E. Morrison, of Osowatomie; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Another daughter, Mrs. Daisy Brown, died July 11, 1916.
