Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline G. McCabe, 86, the former Pauline Aberle and widow of Christopher A. McCabe, were held Feb. 23, 1966, at the Willwerscheid and Peters Mortuary in St. Paul. Interment was at St. Mary's cemetery in Alexandria.
Mrs. McCabe was born and reared in Alexandria. After completing high school in Alexandria, she entered nurses' training at the Michael Reese hospital in Chicago, Ill. Upon graduation, she did surgical nursing at the hospital and then did private duty nursing in Eau Claire, Wis., and Alexandria.
In 1916, she married the late Christopher A. McCabe and moved to St. Paul, where she resided until the time of her death. During her lifetime, Mrs. McCabe was active in Red Cross work, various women's organizations, and the Reformation Lutheran church.
She is survived by three sisters: Miss Clara Aberle of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Flora Forkel of Alexandria, and Mrs. Robert Sent of St. Paul.
