For Mrs. Viertz
Life Long Resident Of Area
Diet Wednesday After
Long Illness
WOODBURN—Mrs. Minnie Viertz, 82-year-old life-long resident of Clarke and Lucas county, died Wednesday morning at a Chariton nursing home after long illness.
The Rosary will be said at 8:30 Thursday evening at the Beardsley-Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton and funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning at St. Mary Catholic church in Woodburn with Rev. Fr. Lawrence Burns, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Woodburn cemetery.
A native of Lucas county, Mrs. Viertz had made her home in Woodburn for the past nine years. Her husband, Michael, died in 1948.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Eula McClure of Chicago, Ill.; two sons, Marvin of Woodburn and Michael of Harvey, Ill., and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter.
