Passed away at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 23, 2009. Mr. Hubert Hay of Lochiel, age 80 years. Beloved son of the late Thomas J. Hay and the late Christina Ross. Loving brother of Jean Hay of Montreal, PQ, Lillian MacDonald (late Donald) of Alexandria, Ontario, Iris Morrison (late John Hugh) of McCrimmon, Edwin Hay (late Phoebe) of Lochiel, Kaye Hay of Lochiel and sister-in-law Anna Margaret (MacSweyn) Hay (late Alexander) of Lochiel. Predeceased by four brothers, Alexander, George, Tommy and Lance, and by two sisters, Gertrude Coloviras and Violet Hay. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. S., Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.; and on Thursday from noon until 12:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Alexandria United Church (Church on the Hill), Thursday, Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. Spring Interment, Alexandria United Church Cemetery.
