Valera Beatrice FALES was born December 10, 1905 in Grand Pass, Saline County, Missouri. She was the daughter of Levi Sherman Fales and Catherine Margaret WELLS Fales. Valera, also known as Berta, worked at a condensery which produced dried milk & dried eggs. She married Arthur Ernest Biesemeyer on September 6, 1923. Berta passed away on March 20, 1942 in Marshall, Missouri and was buried in Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Grand Pass. In addition to her husband, she was survived by her children, Wilbur "Rusty", William "Bill", and Vera Beatrice Biesemeyer.
