Mrs. Elsie (STEIN) BRAMAN McINTIRE, 83, Decatur, died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, at
the Adams County Memorial hospital.
Mrs. McIntire was born March 31, 1894, to Mr. and Mrs. Karl STEIN in Crete, Ill. She
was married to Clyde E. BRAMAN in 1917; he died in 1940. She married Walter McINTIRE in
1951; he died in 1973. She was a member of the Decatur Church of God and the Huntington
Homemakers Club. She was a Rochester resident for many years before moving to Decatur.
Surviving are a son, Warren C. BRAMAN, Decatur; two step-sons, Harold McINTIRE,
Lapeer, Mich., and Robert McINTIRE, Dayton, O.; two brothers, Henry STEIN, Fort Myers, Fla.,
and Charles STEIN, Steger, Ill.; a step-grandchild, and three step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of God, Decatur, with the Rev.
Mark STAYTON officiating. Burial will be at the Citizens cemetery, Rochester, with commital
services at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the winteregg-Linn and
Haggard funeral home, Decatur.
