Waycross, Ga., July 28- Joseph Manning Sills, 60, of the Dixie Union community, died in a Waycross hospital this morning after a short illness. A native of Ware County, he had spent his life here and was a retired farmer and had been associated with the Dixie Union schools.

Survivors are his wife, the former Miss Ava Jordan; five daughters, Mrs. Grave Hooper, Mrs. Effie Lee Scott, both of Hammond, Ind., Mrs. Josephine Turner, Mrs. Colleen Bernard [sic] , Mrs. Catherine Sills [sic] , Waycross; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Taylor and Mrs. Nora Morton, Waycross; nine grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Jordan Church, Dixie Union, burial at Jordan Cemetery.
The body will be at the residence until time for services. Mincy Funeral Home is in charge.
