Mrs. Lola Grace Hooper, 83, died Wednesday (August 13, 2008) at St. Margaret Hospital in Dyer, (Lake Co) IN following an extended illness.

She was a native of Waycross but had resided in Hammond, IN for over 60 years. She was married to the late Robert D. Hooper, Sr. and attended the Hessville Bible Church in Hammond. She adored her family and loved spending time with her great grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Robert Hooper, Jr. (wife Delaine) of Waycross; a daughter, Debbie Hooper of Hammond, IN; her grandchildren, Jennie Fultman (fiancé Mike), Randy Evanich, Robbi Lane Goble (wife Ray), Renn Hooper, (wife Gina), Ron Hooper (wife Trisha), Amy Stanley (husband David), Joe Hooper, and Tim Hooper (wife Sharon); 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; three sisters, Colleen Barnard, Josephine Turner, and Katherine Smith all of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday (August 21, 2008) at Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Jordan Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6 until 8.
