Rites Tuesday For Mrs. T.R. Eppler
Mrs. T. R. Eppler, a resident of the community southwest of Carnegie for many years, died Monday, Jan. 27, after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted at the Carnegie Church of the Nazarene Tuesday at 2:30 and burial was made in the Carnegie cemetery. Rev. Harry Moyer, Hobart, gave the sermon and was assisted by Rev. Oscar Eudaley, pastor and Rev. H.L. Perot, Spring Valley pastor.
Myrtle Bandy was born September 14, 1889 at Nocona, Texas and died at the age of 51 years, 4 months and 13 days. She moved with her parents to Oklahoma at the age of five. She was united in marriage to Thomas Robert Eppler September 4, 1904 and to them four daughters were born, one of which preceded her mother in death September 14, 1924. Mrs. Eppler was converted and united with the Church of the Nazarene west of Carnegie where she served as secretary a year. Later her membership was moved to the Carnegie church where it remained.
Survivors include her husband and three daughters, Miss Litha Eppler, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Veda Troub, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Dorothy Holden of Carnegie; also two granddaughters; two brothers, Carl Bandy, Oklahoma City, and Willard Bandy, Yuma, Ariz.; a half-brother, Edward Nichols, Colorado Springs, and a half-sister, Mrs. Carlie Johnson of Eakly, and many other relatives and friends.
