Sarah Church was married to Jeremiah Pool in Richland Co. Ohio on Feb. 20, 1823. She is believed to be the daughter of William Church, a veteran of the War of 1812. A small marker with the name 'Mother' lies just south of the grave stones of Ethan and Jeremiah Pool. Since neither of Ethan Pool's wives are believed to be buried with him, this marker is possibly Mariah's. Mariah spent her final years living with her daughter and son-in-law, Edward and Mary Frisbie, in Bridgewater twp. Sarah died of 'Gall Stones', but more likely from simple old age.
