WINNSBORO, La., July 31 (Special) — The funeral of Mrs. Roxie [sic Rosie] Metscher, 71, of Crowville, whose death occurred in the home of the aged in Winnsboro, was held in the First National Funeral home in Winnsboro, Friday at 5 p.m. Rev. Willard Mixon of Rayville officiated. Interment was in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery.

Pallbearers included S. L. Newsom, Eddie Wiggins, William Craven, Clark Roan, Sam Womack, O'Quinn Pierce.

She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Lurline Arnold, Crowville, La.; Mrs. Mamie Scott, Monroe; Mrs. Henryetta Perkins, West Monroe; Mrs. Billie Free, West Monroe; Mrs. Gertrude Boyett, Baton Rouge; Mrs. Rosie Lee Critzer, Louisville, Ky.

Two sons, Clarence A. Russell of Mangham; John Russell, Wisner; 25 grandchildren; one twin brother, Wesley Anderson, Winnsboro; five sisters, Mrs. Lena Lawson, Winnsboro; Mrs. Joe Emerson, Dunn; Mrs. Sena Emerson, Dunn; Mrs. Abbie Palmer, Monroe; Mrs. Viola Purvis, Winnsboro.
