Fairview -- Charles Albert Mower, 75, active church worker, died January 2, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Nordstrom, of heart disease.

Mr. Mower was born in Springville November 10, 1859, a son of Henry Mower and Alice Burton Mower. He was married to the late Henrietta Stewart Mower December 6, 1880, at Fairview.

Mr. Mower is survived by the following children: Mrs. John Nordstrom, Charles Lewis Mower, James H. Mower and Francis M. Mower, Fairview; Mrs. Ruben White, Clear Creek; brothers and sisters: Henry Mower, Provo; Sidney W. Mower, Fairview; Mrs. Luis McMellon, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Liddy Bills, Vernal; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. in the North ward chapel January 5, with Bishop Henry W. Jones presiding.

Burial was in the Fairview City Cemetery.
