William Robert Edwards, Jesse L. father married Nancy Jobe abt 1873 either in Linn co. KS or across the boarder Vernon Co. MO. families lived in both areas. abt 1875 Jesse parents and the Cox families who were Reg.mormons and had married several of Wm's sisters all moved to Little Sioux, Harrison Co., Iowa, were only there 3 yrs. Jesse was born there 1876. Then move to Jackson co. MO, except Wm. Edwards family lived in Vernon Co. Nancy died after 1880 Wm. Robert Edwards died Dec 1887 from gas in a well he was digging. Jesse and his only sister Mary Belle Edwards then lived with an Aunt & Uncle Martha Ann Edwards & John Yancey. 1892 Belle m. John Wickliff, and Jesse went on his own. He worked all over the mid-west until 1905 when he and two friends Wayne Daffin and Everett Murvin moved to Blk Foot Idaho. Jesse m. Ida Bybee there 1907
