The grave of Sarah Boultinghouse and those of six of her children, a family friend, and six slaves were moved here by the Corps of Engineers in 1974 from the family cemetery located on the Boultinghouse homestead, south side of the North Fork of San Gabriel River. Removal was casued by the erection of dam on the river, possibly Lake Georgetown, Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas. [From the Chisholm Trail, Vol. 17, No. 1.]
