Burial was in White Rose Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites under auspices of Wills Point Masonic Lodge 422 AF&AM.
Mr. Chandler died Oct. 20, 2000, in a Terrell hospital.
He was born Sept. 30, 1907, in Winn Parish, La., to the late George and Maggie Carraway Chandler. He attended Tyler Business College and was bookkeeper and general manager at Queen City Chevrolet-Olds, Wills Point, for several years. He later worked at North American Aviation, owned and operated an auto parts brokerage for many years and was a Realtor.
He was a member of Russell Memorial United Methodist Church, Wills Point, Dal-Cliff Masonic Lodge, Dallas, and Wills Point Masonic Lodge 422 AF&AM, where he was a Past Master and received a 65-year pin.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lillian Camp.
